The story of Talisker begins in 1830, when brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill founded the Talisker distillery in Carbost on the wild shores of the Isle of Skye. For nearly two centuries, Talisker has been committed to capturing the wild spirit of its birthplace, inspiring whisky lovers to experience the elemental beauty of Skye in every sip.
