Our Shareholder centre contains information about your shareholding in Diageo, including details of how to manage your holding, tools you can use to look up historical and comparative dividend information and answers to any questions you may have about your shareholding.

The Share Portal contains a help centre full of useful information and answers to frequently asked questions, which can be accessed without needing to login first. To access and view specific information on your shareholding, you will need to login first. If you have forgotten your username or password then click on the forgotten username or password links. New users will first need to register; you only need three pieces of information – your surname, postcode and investor code. Your investor code is a unique number that can be found on previous communications from Link Group, such as a share certificate or dividend confirmation statement.
If you are a holder of Diageo ordinary shares, which are traded on the London Stock Exchange, visit the Ordinary shareholders section to access the services available to you.
If you are a holder of Diageo American Depository Receipts (ADRs), listed on the New York Stock Exchange, visit the ADR holders section for further information on the services available to you.
We encourage our shareholders to help us reduce printing, the environmental impact of paper and postage and costs by opting to receive shareholder documents (including our Annual Report) electronically. We also believe shareholders who receive these documents electronically receive information more quickly and simply.

Shareholders who have not registered an email address or have not requested to receive paper copies of shareholder documents will receive a postcard to let them know whenever shareholder documents are available on our website. You can request a paper copy of any shareholder documents or change your communication election at any time by contacting Link Group.
Dealing with unsolicited investment advice
Investment fraudsters will use a variety of techniques to try to take your money, and regularly target experienced investors. Investment scams are designed to look like genuine investments.
Scammers may do one or more of the following:
- Apply pressure on you to invest in a time-limited offer, offer you a bonus or discount if you invest before a set date or say that the opportunity is only available for a short period of time.
- Downplay the risks to your money, or use legal jargon to suggest the investment is very safe.
- Promise tempting returns, such as much better interest rates than those offered elsewhere. Follow the rule that if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
- Call you repeatedly and stay on the phone a long time.
- Say that they are only making the offer available to you, or even ask you to not tell anyone else about the opportunity.
Do your own checks before investing
Check the Financial Conduct Authority Warning List and the financial services register to see if those that are asking for your money are legitimate. Think about getting impartial financial advice before you hand over any money. Seek advice from someone unconnected to the firm that has approached you.
Report a Scam
If you suspect that you have been approached by fraudsters, please tell the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) using the FCA reporting form. You can also call the FCA Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768.
If you have lost money to investment fraud, you should report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or online at www.actionfraud.police.uk.
