At Diageo, inclusivity has long been central to who we are. It underpins our purpose of celebrating life, every day, everywhere – a purpose that calls on us to create an environment where people feel able to thrive. We know inclusion is the right thing to do, and we also know that an inclusive culture strengthens our business and supports long-term performance.

As a global organisation with bold growth ambitions, we must build and retain talent from a wide range of backgrounds so that our teams reflect the consumers who enjoy our brands. Our business is built on celebration and culture, and here in Ireland, home to some of our most iconic brands and deepest heritage, we strive to create a workplace rich in perspectives and experiences that enables everyone to truly perform at their best.

As part of our global Spirit of Progress action plan, we are committed to attainable ambitions, including achieving 50% female and 45% ethnically diverse leaders by 2030. These goals guide our efforts to strengthen leadership representation, build diverse talent pipelines across the business, and foster the most inclusive culture at Diageo.

In this report we explain our pay gap, how we are addressing it and the opportunities to improve. Our mean pay gap for the Republic of Ireland has decreased from +6.5% in 2024 to +2.2% in 2025 and for Diageo Ireland from +6.8% in 2024 to +1.0% in 2025. We know there is more to do, but we believe the policies and practices we have in place are helping to create a more gender balanced company at all levels.
