We’ve launched Distilled 2025 - our annual Consumer Trends Report.
Are you interested in earning a virtual accreditation in bartending? If so, Diageo has placed its trade advocacy program online for the first time. Diageo World Class Studios includes masterclass tutorials, top tips for future World Class competitors and insider knowledge from world-leading drinks professionals.
Traditionally, Diageo World Class Studios training has been conducted face-to-face (and will be again once safe) but the program has now been adapted so bartenders everywhere can get involved at a time and place that suits them best.
Bartenders thrive on a sense of community. This year has been unlike any other so we wanted to do what we could to help bartenders stay connected and engaged as much as possible because we’re always looking for new ways to support the trade and inspire better drinking. We’ve recruited some of the world’s greatest drinks professionals to collaborate on our World Class Studios modules, which means that every session has a fresh, original take on drinks education.
Each module in World Class Studios focuses on a leading trend in the bartending industry, which is then explored through the lens of one of Diageo’s Reserve Portfolio of spirits (the best-selling spirits collection in the world’s best bars, according to the Drinks International Brands Report 2020). Every session is packed with fun, interactive quiz elements, videoed techniques and lively demonstrations.
With the brand-new online training platform launching, bartenders everywhere can develop and refine their skills regardless of location or resources. The first seven sessions delve into the stories and serves behind world-leading brands including Johnnie Walker, Ketel One, Talisker, The Singleton, Ron Zacapa, Tanqueray No. Ten and Bulleit.
