Today, we continue to use only the highest-calibre, fully matured and ripened blue agave, hand-selected from the rich clay soils of the Los Altos region to create Don Julio tequila. Our team of distillers oversees the entire handcrafted process to create a consistent and distinctive rich taste.
Don Julio joined our portfolio in 2015 as part of our strategy to acquire premium-plus brands in fast-growing categories.
Society 2030: Spirit of Progress
Pioneering grain-to-glass sustainability is a core pillar of our Society 2030: Spirit of Progress action plan. In 2021 Don Julio became the first tequila to receive the Environmentally Responsible Agave Certification, for our work in creating a sustainable industry through tequila production free from deforestation.
