Job Description

Job Title: Supply FP&A Manager

Contract: permanent

Location: Budapest

About this role

To manage Make FP&A performance insight and decision support by converting manufacturing cost drivers, production activity, process-order performance and variance data into clear, action-oriented analysis for Make leaders, regional teams and functional cost owners.

The role supports the Prism Make agenda by reducing dependency on manual, fragmented Excel work and strengthening standardized, driver-based and self-service performance management. It ensures Make performance discussions explain what happened, why it happened, so what it means, what action is required, who owns it and by when.

The Make FP&A Manager will support implementation and continuous improvement of Prism dashboards, process routines and data products, working closely with the Make Director, Performance Managers, Manufacturing, Costing, Data, D&T and regional Supply Finance teams.

Top Accountabilities

1. Manage Make performance insight and variance analysis

• Own timely and accurate analysis of Make / manufacturing actuals, forecast, plan and scenario views using Prism standard dashboards, SAP data and agreed data definitions.
• Explain key movements in production cost, conversion cost, process-order variances, yield, usage, scrap, overheads and cost-center performance through clear driver-based analysis.
• Prepare senior-ready Make performance narratives and support action-oriented reviews with clear ownership of follow-up actions.

2. Lead Make planning, forecasting and scenario support
• Coordinate AOP, forecast and latest-estimate inputs for Make cost areas, ensuring production assumptions, activity drivers and cost movements are transparent and aligned with standard Prism logic.
• Maintain driver-based views of manufacturing performance, including production volume, routing/activity assumptions, conversion rates, BOM/routing impacts, standard cost movements and cost-center trends.
• Support scenarios linked to production plans, site performance, SKU mix, efficiency changes, productivity actions and one-off operational impacts.

3. Drive Prism adoption and standard ways of working
• Promote standard Prism dashboards, routines, taxonomy, KPI definitions and data-quality controls for Make performance management.
• Challenge duplicate manual reports, repeated reconciliations and local workarounds, escalating improvement opportunities to the Make Director and Process COE.
• Work with Performance Managers and regional teams to ensure Make outputs are understood, adopted and converted into accountable business actions.

4. Partner with Manufacturing, Costing and regional Finance
• Partner with Supply Operations, Manufacturing, Costing, Performance Managers and regional Supply Finance teams to understand root causes behind Make performance.
• Translate complex SAP, process-order, cost-center and operational information into simple messages for business stakeholders.
• Support cost-owner accountability by connecting variance analysis to actions, risks, opportunities and productivity delivery.

5. Improve data quality, controls and continuous improvement
• Validate Make data products and MVP logic, including SAP / Material Ledger / process-order / cost-center data and DDH / Databricks industrialized outputs.
• Document process logic, assumptions, data lineage and analytical definitions so outputs are transparent, repeatable and auditable.
• Contribute to Lean, automation and AI-enabled improvement opportunities that reduce cycle time, improve insight quality and strengthen Make cost-owner accountability.

What you'll bring

• University / college degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, supply finance, manufacturing finance, controlling, performance reporting or business analytics; experience in FMCG or complex manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers, production planning, process orders, standard costing, conversion cost, yield, usage, scrap, overheads and COGS performance.
• Experience supporting planning, forecasting, actuals review and performance routines across markets, plants or regions.

Technical and digital capability
• Strong SAP FI/CO/MM knowledge; familiarity with Material Ledger, standard costing, BOM/routing logic, process orders, cost centers and production variance analysis.
• Comfortable using Power BI, Excel, SAP extracts and self-service reporting to analyse trends, variances and cost drivers.
• Understanding of DDH / Databricks concepts, data lineage, dashboard adoption and workflow automation is advantageous.
• Digital curiosity and willingness to work with citizen developers, data teams and AI-enabled tools to improve analysis quality and cycle time.

Business partnering and change capability
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to simplify complex manufacturing and finance data into clear business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to challenge constructively and influence without direct authority.
• Lean / continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on removing waste, improving repeatability and strengthening controls.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership and accountability for accurate, timely and transparent performance insight.
• Fluent English knowledge and ability to create senior-ready analysis, commentary and presentation materials.
