Our undergraduate internship program runs quarterly, with new intakes every three months. The application process open once a year only.

If you plan to undertake an internship between January 2026 to December 2026 apply now. Be sure to indicate your preferred internship period when submitting your application.

To apply for the internship program:

  • Only students in their 3rd or final year can apply for these opportunities. They should plan to continue their education once the internship concludes or be awaiting graduation. Sadly, candidates who finished their education and have spent over a year (12 months) since leaving school will not qualify for consideration. If you apply your application will automatically be declined.
  • You in a public or accredited private academic institution undertaking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • You must be on break/ holiday from school during the internship period.

Areas of Opportunity:

We offer internship opportunities to students pursuing studies in a wide range of subject areas, including but not limited to:

  • Business-related fields: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Communication, Public Policy or Public Relations, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Statistics, Project Management, and Supply Chain/Operations Management.
  • Manufacturing-related fields: Engineering (Chemical, Biochemical, Microbiology, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or Packaging), Food Science and Technology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Health, Safety & Environment.

Internship Positions Available Outside Nairobi

Due to limited placement opportunities in Nairobi, we also offer internships within our subsidiaries and field-based teams across the country. Applicants who are open to undertaking their attachment outside Nairobi are encouraged to indicate this in their application, as it will help us in matching them to available roles.

Current opportunities outside Nairobi include:

  • Sales (Data Analysis and Insights) – Coast, Nyeri, Kisumu, and Nakuru
  • Agriculture – Molo
  • Food Science and Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) – Kisumu
  • Information Technology / Computer Science – Kisumu

Indicating your flexibility to work in any of the above locations will improve the likelihood of being matched to an available opportunity.

What you will need:

  • A successful intern has a desire to gain professional experience and is exceptionally eager to learn and explore possibilities.
  • Strong listening skills are also required to perform this role.
  • Oral and written communication skills, the ability to understand instructions, as well as not being afraid to ask questions will ensure a productive internship.
  • Excellent knowledge in use of Microsoft applications is needed.
  • Very articulate with fluent English.
  • Patient, attention to detail, fast learner, committed, able to understand directions, can work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Keen to learn about the markets and also with a high attention to detail and pride in their work at this initial stage of their career development.
  • A dedication to completing the 3 months internship program.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Letter from your institution indicating you are a student there and/or require internship as part of requirement for course completion.
  • Personal Accident insurance cover for the duration of the internship.
  • Bank account details.
  • Copy of National Identity Card.
  • Copy of KRA Pin Certificate
  • NSSF and SHA numbers.

Critical Application Details:

  • When completing your application, please specify your current area of study or degree title under the education or current job experience sections. This information is needed for us to allocate you to the appropriate department. Failure to provide these details may affect your chances of being selected.
  • The internship is for a fixed period of three months without extension.
  • You will be required to complete an online test as soon as application process is closed to progress through the recruitment process.
  • We cannot accept offline applications (Please refrain from dropping off any documentations at our offices). All applications must be made online via the application link.
