Sales graduate programmes

This two-year graduate scheme offers a wide variety of opportunities at the heart of our global organisation. During the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to excel in areas such as Account Management, Customer Marketing, Shopper and Customer Activation, Innovation, and Reserve.
The scheme offers a blended learning approach, combining formal training with a global leadership curriculum, mentoring and coaching from respected colleagues and — most importantly — real-world, on-the-job experience. From the very beginning, you’ll be working on projects that will develop and improve your skillset. You’ll be able to make a real contribution to the business while building a global network of relationships that will support your career, both now and long into the future.

On this three-year rotation programme, you’ll gain experience across both Marketing and Commercial Sales, building a strong foundation for your future career at Diageo. You’ll rotate through three roles across your time on the programme, giving you exposure to multiple disciplines which could cover the following areas:
Marketing: you’ll work closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, and Commercial teams across the business to support the development and execution of 360° brand plans. You'll drive campaign delivery, performance analysis, budget management, and cross-functional alignment across multiple channels. This is a high-growth role built for a results-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced, consumer-obsessed environments and who is ready to blend creative thinking with sharp business acumen.
Commercial: sales & account management, customer marketing, and customer activation. You’ll learn how to take brands like Baileys, Guinness, and Smirnoff to new generations of shoppers, untapped markets, and new occasions, while strengthening customer relationships and ensuring our brands are successfully promoted, available, and well-presented.

You’ll help create compelling and powerful stories to make our existing brands even stronger, and perhaps even launching new ones. Developing creative platforms that will be activated all over the world, you’ll use your creativity, vision and pioneering spirit to bring our brands to life.
Through working on iconic and innovative brands you will be inspired to excel and build the foundations of your Marketing and Commercial Capability. These foundations will help you to advance at an accelerated pace, where you’ll be ready to specialise in an area of Marketing within Diageo after the programme.
