About the Function
Supply Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Supply Chain and Procurement organization and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.
About the role
Take full responsibility for the day to day management of the respective Profit and Loss / Balance sheet area from accounting, reporting and controlling perspective
Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes where actuals reflect appropriate business performance, variance to plan are well understood and explained
Deliver insights to stakeholders on efficiency gaps and further improvement areas vs. plan
Decision support for business partners through value-added analysis, thorough understanding of variances to plan/last year with the underlying business reasons
Create accurate forecasts based on identified trends in the actuals and information collected from the stakeholders
Ensure to build and maintain a smooth Annual Operating Plan process where the given area’s budget is well understood, adequate challenge is applied and detailed insights are given to the stakeholders (for OH budget of the team)
Ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal audit (CARM) processes
About You
At least 6-8 years experience in Finance, Controlling or FP&A in a multinational environment, preferably in FMCG sector
Be able to drive the business performance management process by influencing both peers and superiors to meet deadlines and provide robust submissions
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Fluent English knowledge
Relevant experience with SAP
Strong Excel knowledge
