Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. ·Ensure that the quality team on shift performs all the required activities and checks

·Ensure that the operational team on shift performs all the required activities and checks to produce good quality (semi)product – from raw material intake to finished product

·Support the site quality manager to deliver quality improvement programs and projects and to promote quality improvement in their shift

·

Subsequently, this role is (during the production shift):

·Responsible to ensure compliance to specifications of raw materials, work in progress and semi-finished product (bulk) through the execution of microbiological and physicochemical analysis, reporting any type of deviation to the corresponding areas and participate in a collaborative manner in the resolution of deviations.

·Responsible to make decisions that impact the activities of the QA shop floor and client areas on a day to day basis.

·Responsible to be the voice of Quality Assurance with all client areas during a shift

·Supervises physicochemical and microbiological laboratory analysis (of raw materials, utilities, semi-finished product and finished product) using high technology equipment ensuring the reliability of results based on local and international standards and methodologies. Examples of analyses are %ART (Total Reducing Sugars), %Alc Vol, %Dry Extract, Gas chromatography and liquid chromatography.

·Support the production teams to adjust processes where vital to ensure proper quality is achieved.

·Participate in the application of diagnostic and quality improvement tools, such as root cause problem solving, GMP’s, 5S fundamentals, RCA, and auto control systems.

·Provides performance tracking and support on production metrics and related processes

·Assure the quality of measurements through:

oAssurance of proper maintenance of equipment

oAssurance that calibration of verification plan of all equipment (lab & auto control) are fully adhered to

oRepeatability and reproducibility analysis

·Provide training to lab technicians and operations from production areas

·Other activities include (but are not limited to):

oStatistical Process Control Analysis: CP and CPK

oParticipation in industrial tests from the initial stage

oExecution of process improvement versus process capability

oGeneration of documents related to the Quality Laboratory and Quality shop floor

oExecution of process improvement versus process capability

oParticipation in quality audits

oImplementation of improvements in QA procedures

oParticipation in follow-up and process improvement meetings

oRegistration of results of process samples in SAP system and internal rate card

oPerformance of quality controls to evidence the good performance of the methods in the whole site

oEvaluate, store and control reagents and reference materials

oMaintenance and propagation of the yeast strains for tequila production
