Job Description

Process Electrical Technician

Location: St James’s Gate, Dublin
Contract type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract (multiple positions available)
Shift pattern: Continental shift – 12‑hour shifts covering days and nights
Reward: Competitive base salary + 33% shift allowance

About the Role

As a Process Electrical Technician, you will provide electrical asset care expertise to ensure safe, compliant and high‑performing operations. You will support maintenance delivery, continuous improvement initiatives and long‑term equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Diageo safety, environmental and food safety standards
  • Deliver electrical maintenance support across production operations
  • Execute PPM schedules and reactive maintenance to a high standard
  • Use SAP for accurate reporting, recording and analysis
  • Support operators with autonomous maintenance and capability building
  • Participate in root cause problem solving and line improvement projects
  • Support capital works including installation, commissioning and testing
  • Contribute to Tier 1 meetings, SIC processes and asset care reviews

About You

Essential

  • Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship
  • Strong understanding of asset performance and maintenance systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and solutions‑focused mindset

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental standards
  • Experience with SAP, Harford and MMS tools
