About the role   

OurGuinness packaging facilitiesinRuncornproducescanned, bottled and kegged product for Ireland,UKand export markets.It isan 18 Acre site with 2 Bottling, 2 Canning lines and 1 Kegging production line.

AsProductionOperatorwithin our packagingteamin Runcorn, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that operations are carried out to the highest standard and in adherence to Diageo's health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, 

Key responsibilities:

  • Performingoperational tasks, support continuous improvement, and apply autonomous maintenance and quality skills.

  • Operating bottling line machinery following standard operating procedures.

  • Reduce setup times and perform autonomous maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and resolving issues.

  • Conducting effective shift handovers.

About you

To be successful in this role,we’relooking for someone who demonstrates the following: 

  • Can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems. 

  • Holds strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to communicate with all levels across the site. 

  • Has ambition and aim to support Team Leaders andpossibly aspireto become a Team Leader of the future. 

  • Able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. With a strive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.

Shifts 

This role involves working a 42-hour week on a continental day/night shift pattern, which includes two weekend shifts per month.You’llbe contracted to a suite of flexible shiftpatterns,and your working hours will adjust according to the patternyou’reassigned.
