About the Role
This role sits within the Standards& Strategy teamand plays a key part in helping Global MANEX and Diageo Make,become more data‑driven. It focuses on improving how data and insights are used by standardising reporting, automating processes, and turning data into clear, actionable insights that support faster manufacturing decisions. Working closely with the Global Manufacturing community and key stakeholders, the role helps align performance metrics and reporting to develop a single, trusted source of data. By making data easier to access and use, the role supports better decision‑making and helps build a strong data‑led culture across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Own and drive the Manufacturing data strategy and roadmap, embedding a PDCA approach to continuous improvement
Enable Global MANEX / Diageo Make to become a data‑powered organisation through standardisedmetrics and analytics models
Partner with Global Manufacturing, GlobalProcessOwners, DigitalSupplyChain, and wider stakeholders to align data, reporting, and insights
Lead data governance to ensure accuracy, security, and a trustedsingle sourceof truth
Coordinate dashboards, reporting, and performance monitoring to support faster, better decision‑making
Translate sophisticated data into clear, actionable insights that drive manufacturing performance
Continuously refine data models, tools, and processes based on insights, outcomes, and collaborator feedback
About You
This role requires a proactive approach and being a good communicator is critical. In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate the following:
Strongexpertisein data analysis, visualisation, and analytics tools (e.g. VBA, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau)
Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in a manufacturing environment
Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to turn sophisticated data into actionable solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
Proven project management capability, managing multiple initiatives and deliverables optimally
Strong eye for business with an understanding of manufacturing processes and industry challenges (IBD qualification preferred)
