The area
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Experience Area is part of Global Business Operations (GBO) and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis.
The Experience Area’s responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.
The Experience Area responsibilities also include ensuring there is a true and fair representation of business performance at the cut-off point for the period and transparency on financials for Business Performance Management.
As part of our ongoing talent pipelining strategy, we are seeking to connect with high-potential professionals for future opportunities. This role is crafted to build a strong network of candidates who can be considered as new positions become available.
The role
Work closely with the regional leadership teams across businesses, markets, and functions on the overall financial management of the region
Develop and own the region wide annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Evaluate business and reporting processes to drive efficiencies; drive continuous improvement initiatives and share standard processes
Lead region wide reporting processes including monthly forecast, executive presentations, business reviews and general reporting communications including analysis of key performance indicators, trends, and areas of concern
Perform quality reviews and analyses of financial results and forecasts
Shape decision making process across the business and long-term strategy conversation.
Lead FP&A team including holding regular FP&A meetings to update the team on performance, projects, finance systems
Provide ongoing direction and constructive feedback to FP&A team members to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of support services to market and regional leadership
Establish FP&A team objectives to align with company goals and evaluate performance against established critical metrics
About you
Degree in finance / accounting/ business administration
Extensive (10–12+ years) track record in FP&A, Financial Performance & Analysis, and Financial Controlling across global FMCG/CPG, Pharma, or Retail sectors
Experience in managing and mentoring with a team of colleagues
Can effectively delegate, mentor, and leverage resources
Lead by example, demonstrates strong work ethic, has initiative and is a self-starter demeanor
Skilled in conflict resolution and problem solving, a creative problem solver
Proficient in English
