We’ve launched Distilled 2025 - our annual Consumer Trends Report.

Overview
As part of our Spirit of Progress our ambition is to create the most inclusive and diverse environment that ensures all our people thrive, supported by market leading policies and practices; whilst also removing barriers and having a positive impact on our partners, suppliers and communities
How we champion inclusion and diversity
Nurturing an inclusive culture
We aim to create an environment within our business where every individual feels a sense of belonging and can thrive and contribute to their fullest.
We believe there is power in diversity and when people of different genders, ethnicities, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, social backgrounds, educations and experiences come together it is better for our business and society.
Shaping an inclusive society through advertising
As one of the world’s largest advertisers, we’re committed to playing our part across the industry to ensure that everyone, from script to screen, sees themselves represented.
We commit investment to address under-representation of diverse voices in media, making mainstream media more inclusive. As part of the United Nations Unstereotype Alliance, we work to combat harmful stereotypes in advertising, and are members of the World Federation of Advertisers’ Diversity & Inclusion Taskforce.
Promoting diversity in our supply chain
With our partners and suppliers, we champion inclusion and diversity across our entire value chain and work in partnership to create opportunities to propel growth and innovation. We champion diverse suppliers through partnership, advocacy and celebrating success to deliver sustainable economic impact in the many communities where we operate.
As part of our ‘Spirit of Progress' plan we will continuously measure and increase the percentage of diverse suppliers across our value chain year on year.
Our inclusive communities approach
Where we source, make, and sell, we aim to provide equal access to resources, skills, and employment opportunities and have a positive impact on those communities.
Our programmes include the provision of business and hospitality skills training, safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and support for smallholder farmers.
Our inclusive communities approach means ensuring that 50% of beneficiaries are women and that our community programmes are designed to enhance diversity and inclusion of underrepresented groups.
Building an inclusive hospitality sector
Part of how we promote sustainable growth, and a resilient supply chain is giving equal access to resources, skills, and employment opportunities. Learning for Life (L4L) is our business and hospitality skills programme for people from under-represented groups.
Our Spirit of Progress goals
- 50% representation of women in leadership roles by 2030*.
- 45% of leaders from ethnically diverse backgrounds by 2030*.
