Our success is built on a rich Australian heritage. From the ingenuity of the Queensland sugar millers who turned molasses into Bundaberg Rum in 1888 to the creators of Australia’s first premix drink – UDL – in the 1960s, we stand on the shoulders of giants of our industry and act with the same entrepreneurial spirit and determination to succeed.

Our company is sustained through innovation, and we are constantly looking to create new experiences for the 1.5 million Australians who enjoy our products every year. Whether collaborating with some of the world’s best bartenders or producing world-leading premix drinks, innovation is at the core of our business.

While risky drinking continues to decline in Australia, we continue to take our responsibility as a producer very seriously. We want our consumers to enjoy alcohol as part of a balanced lifestyle, consumed in moderation, and we are proud of the work we do to reduce the impact of harmful drinking. Over the last five years we have invested more than $6 million in a range of program to tackle alcohol misuse and promote a more responsible drinking culture.

We are also committed to supporting the communities in which we work. In 2016 we spent $8.5 million upgrading our Bundaberg Rum Visitor Experience, which attracts 75,000 visitors each year – the majority from outside the region – and makes an important contribution to the local community.

Our brands

From Leichhardt to Longreach, our 200-plus brands are enjoyed by 1.5 million Australians every year and include some of Australia’s favourite spirits, including Queensland’s finest Bundaberg Rum.

Reserve

As Australians drink less but drink better, our Reserve brands play an increasingly important role in our success, representing around 20% of annual sales by value.
