“It’s always been a passion of mine to do what we do as sustainably and as protectively as we possibly can for the environment.”

At Diageo, we are accelerating our path to a low carbon world, with the overall ambition of reaching net zero carbon across our operations by 2030. This is why at our site in Oban, Scotland, whilst staying true to our traditional manufacturing methods, we have implemented renewable solutions such as hydroelectric power sources for all of our electricity and biofuel that we create on site to generate all of our steam power.

The planet needs significant science-based action to create a sustainable low-carbon future, so we are committed to decarbonising our own operations and working with our suppliers on renewable energy solutions in order to achieve our ambition.
