Diageo Australia: Bundaberg Rum to donate to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief & Recovery Fund
The last few months have been decidedly tough for Australia and for so many in its rural and regional communities. The world has watched with sadness and heartbreak alongside every Australian as these bushfires have had a devastating impact on people, communities, land and wildlife.
Our local Australian brand Bundaberg Rum will donate $500,000 to Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief & Recovery Fund to support its efforts in aiding all those communities impacted by the bushfires who need it today, tomorrow and in the months ahead on their road to recovery.
Having experienced two devastating fires at our Bundaberg Rum Distillery in our history, we’re acutely aware that the road to recovery is long and impacted communities will need our help well into the future.
