The Singleton announces one-of-a-kind Sensorium

The Singleton of Glen Ord Single Malt Scotch Whisky unveils plans to debut a new ‘Sensorium’ in Hong Kong, at the four-day culinary festival Taste of Hong Kong from 22-25 March 2018.

Feature

The Singleton of Glen Ord Sensorium is soon to open its doors to whisky enthusiasts at the Central Harbourfront in Hong Kong, where visitors step inside a giant purpose-built cask, surrounded by a 360° video projection in a full immersion experience.

The thirty-minute tasting experience begins by virtually transporting sixteen guests, at one sitting, to the Scottish Highlands to explore The Singleton of Glen Ord’s rich history, unique production process and flavour profile. Renowned brand ambassadors will guide guests through the sights, sounds, smells and taste of The Singleton of Glen Ord’s 12, 15 and 18-year-old expressions.

Created to mirror the rich tasting notes of The Singleton of Glen Ord offering, the sensorium is designed with the influence of American and European Oak, which emulates The Singleton of Glen Ord’s casks in which the whisky ages; crafting an alluringly dark, elegant, and complex interior.

Founded in 1838, The Singleton of Glen Ord collection holds three exquisite whiskies including the Glen Ord 12 Year Old – a fruity, well-balanced Singleton, the 18 Year Old – a subtle spicy, mature, and deep-flavoured counterpart, and the much-anticipated 15 Year Old – a rich and complex whisky with delicate hints of ginger, vanilla and melon, which debuts in Hong Kong in March.
