We are delighted to have achieved recognition for our leadership in the management of our environmental impact in the prestigious CDP A List.

Speaking about Diageo’s position in this year’s CDP A List, David Cutter, President Global Supply & Procurement said:

I’m very proud of this achievement. It’s a strong endorsement of our ambitious strategy and our performance against challenging environmental targets. It is also welcome recognition for all our teams focused on driving our improved performance – particularly as this is the second year in a row we’ve achieved an A score for both water and climate - a consistency that reflects our unwavering commitment”.

Our environmental strategy supports the UN Global Goals and the Paris Agreement and we are absolutely committed to contributing to both. Most recently we have continued to address climate change through:

The publication of environmental footprints for five of our global brands to provide consumers with the key information on these brands' carbon impact.

Use of renewable energy in India to drive climate change action, reducing carbon emissions overall at Diageo India by 20,000 tonnes or around 30%, compared with last year.
