Diageo Colombia ranked fifth in the PAR: Ranking of Gender Equality in Organisations

Diageo Colombia has been recognised for its efforts to promote gender diversity within the business - ranking fifth out of 209 companies in the PAR: Ranking of Gender Equality in Organisations.

Diageo Colombia has ranked fifth in the recently published PAR: Ranking of Gender Equality in Organisations. The index evaluated 209 private and public companies in the region, with Diageo Colombia gaining recognition for its initiatives to reduce gender inequality and champion diversity within the organisation.

In addition to being named in the top five, Diageo Colombia was the only beverages company to be included in the top 20 as well as the highest ranking food and beverages company to feature in the list.

And we view diversity as one of the key enablers that helps our business to grow.

In July Diageo was recognised for leading the FTSE 100 for the representation of women on boards in the Cranfield School of Management Female FTSE Board Report 2018.

The PAR: Ranking of Gender Equality in Organisations is put together by Aequales in partnership with the College of Higher Studies of Administration - CESA, and the District Secretariat of Women of Bogotá.

Now in its fourth year, the index evaluates the performance of organisations in Peru and Colombia based on their initiatives and policies to drive gender equity.
