We are delighted to be recognised in the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark (CHRB) results coming 8th out of the 57 companies.

CHRB is part of the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), which seeks to generate a movement around increasing the private sector’s impact towards a sustainable future for all.

The 2020 Corporate Human Rights Benchmark assesses the human rights disclosures of 230 global companies across five sectors identified as presenting a high risk of negative human rights impacts. These sectors are agricultural products, apparel, extractives, ICT manufacturing and, for the first time, automotive manufacturing. Diageo is included in the agricultural products ranking.

Grounded in international and industry-specific standards on human rights and responsible business conduct, the CHRB methodology focuses on companies’ policies, processes, practices, as well as how they respond to serious allegations. This is done through the application of specific indicators across 6 Measurement Themes of different weights.
