Johnnie Walker Pure Malt was launched in 1997 through Global Duty Free, over 7 years it won many awards and many consumers loved the brand and called it Green Label. In 2004 the brand was therefore re-launched globally as Johnnie Walker Green Label.

Four signature malts provide the key taste influences giving this 15 year old whisky its status as a malt of substance. Talisker introduces power and depth of character, Caol Ila contributes mystery and intensity, at its heart, Cragganmore provides a sweet overt maltiness and Linkwood touches it with finesse.  Blending the whisky entirely from malts produces a smooth whisky in which the flavours of individual components are more distinctive.
