Diageo, the world’s leading spirits, wine and beer company, is proud to support The Century Council and Members of Congress as they gather today at a Congressional Stop DUI Caucus event to discuss meaningful solutions to address drunk driving across the country. The meeting was held here on Capitol Hill and heavily attended by Members of Congress and their staffs.
The Congressional Stop-DUI Caucus is a bipartisan group of Members of Congress formed in May 2004 to reduce drunk driving through increased public awareness and education efforts. The Caucus provides Members of Congress with information on effective programs and countermeasures to reduce drunk driving.
In conjunction with The Century Council, a not-for-profit organization funded by distillers dedicated to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking, the Congressional Stop-DUI Caucus places drunk driving in the national spotlight and works to effectively pioneer anti-drunk driving initiatives nationwide.
