Diageo is committed to acting with integrity. Our Code of business conduct sets out our commitment to conducting business in accordance with our values, and is designed to translate these core values into actions and provide standards for meeting specific legal obligations.
As emphasised by the Code, a vital part of this is our compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and a revised code was issued in 2003 to take account of new laws. Although reviewed regularly, one thing will always remain the same - Diageo’s position that business should be carried out lawfully and ethically, recognising that good ethics and good business go hand in hand to achieve sustainable results.
