Where we make our brands
With four maltings, 27 malt distilleries, two grain distilleries, three production plants and eight major warehousing and blending sites, Diageo has over 2,400 employees across 45 locations around Scotland. We are the largest single producer of Scotch whisky. Diageo also has twelve production facilities throughout Ireland, producing brands such as Guinness in the world famous St James’s Gate brewery, Baileys in Dublin and Belfast and Bushmills at Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery. Santa Vittoria, our site in Italy, produces many of our ready to drink brands, such as Smirnoff Ice.
