Diageo recently announced changes to its regional structure to improve focus and maintain performance momentum in this important part of the world. This resulted in the creation of Diageo Asia Pacific, borne out of existing hubs within Diageo International. Created on 1 February 2007, this new region offers a broad collection of brands across diverse markets and some unique and exciting opportunities for growth.
Diageo will report results for Asia Pacific for the first time at preliminary results on 30 August 2007.
Diageo Asia Pacific consists of the following markets/hubs
1. Greater China including: the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan
3. Australia including: Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific
4. India
5. Korea
6. Japan
7. South East Asia including: Thailand, Indochina, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore
